FAQ's
Can I book online?
You can view our availability and book directly through our online bookings button located at the top right of the page.
How often should I have remedial massage?
Ultimately, the frequency of massages depends on your personal circumstances. Generally, people find that monthly massages help them stay pain-free. However, if you're new to massage or returning to it, more frequent treatments may be beneficial initially. As chronic tension eases, you can gradually increase the gap between appointments.
Can I book an appointment on weekends or after hours?
We operate throughout the week, with our last appointment starting at 5:45 PM. Additionally, we're open on Saturdays, but these slots tend to fill up fast.
Do you offer pregnancy massage?
Absolutely, we offer pregnancy massage. During your session, if you're pregnant, your treatment will be conducted while lying on your side, with plenty of towels provided for support and comfort. Please remember to mention your pregnancy in your booking notes.
Can I claim a rebate from my health fund in clinic?
You can present either your physical or digital health fund card at the clinic for claiming purposes if you're covered for remedial massage.
What health funds are you covered by?
I am covered by all Australian private health funds for remedial massage.
What payment methods are available in clinic?
Clinic payments are card only, the facilities can process EFTPOS, Mastercard, Visa and Amex.
Where can I find your clinic?
We are at 1/257-261 Oxford st (corner Bourke), Leederville WA 6007. Within the Define Physiotherapy clinic.
Is it safe to have massage while I have my period?
Yes, it is safe to have remedial massage during your menstrual period. We're able to adjust the pressure of the massage if your body is feeling more sensitive at this time.
Should I train before or after a massage?
It's advisable to refrain from strenuous exercise for 24 hours after a massage. Therefore, it's recommended to exercise before your massage and then relax afterward.
Is there parking available?
There is free 2 hour street parking available in the streets around the clinic.
What is your cancellation policy?
We reserve your appointment time especially for you. Late cancellations prevent us from being able to offer this time to others who require treatment. All cancellations must be notified within 24 hours. Cancellations on the day will incur a fee for the full cost of the session. This fee is not claimable by your health fund. No shows will not be accepted to rebook. By booking you agree to our cancellation policy.
